Low cost PHYTOTOXKIT – PHYTOTESTKIT INCUBATOR
This low cost table-top incubator has been developed specifically for simultaneous incu bation of large numbers of test containers for phyto-toxicity tests and for seed germination and early root/shoot growth tests in agricultural research. The incubator can contain up to 96 test containers in 16 individual holders.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The incubator is made of rigid nontransparent PVC and is composed of two parts :
- A rectangular box holding the test containers
- A removable flat top with handles, provided with the heating system
- Size: 60 cm (L) – 40 cm (W) – 28 cm (H)
- Heating: by an electrical heating coil (220 V, 50/50 Hz)
- Weight: 4.9 kg
- Temperature range: adjustable from room temperature to >30°C
- Temperature reading: external digital display thermometer
- Temperature stability: +1°C, through sensitive electronic heat sensor
- Temperature homogeneity: ensured by fan ventilation
